Kochi Spice Coast Marathon 2026: Full Marathon Results
Rahul (BIB 42259) crossed in a net time of 3:03:32, averaging 4:20 per kilometre to take the overall title in a field of 356 finishers. It is a solid performance on a flat, AIMS-certified course in October humidity — but the sub-3 mark stayed out of reach. In 2024, CB Benson ran 3:00:42 on the same course. The benchmark is there. The 2026 field did not reach it.
Sanju Joseph finished second in 3:11:22, nearly eight minutes back. Deepu S Nair and Ebin Joseph rounded out the top four, separated by just 86 seconds.

Kochi Spice Coast Marathon 2026: Half Marathon Results
The real competitive depth at Spice Coast has always been in the half — 1,912 finishers this year against 356 in the full tells you exactly where Kerala’s running community puts its energy. Manoj RS (BIB 25187) made the most of it. His 1:18:43 net time translates to 3:43 per kilometre in warm, humid conditions with a 3 AM start. That is a serious time anywhere. On Marine Drive in October, it is exceptional.
Sajith (BIB 25186) pushed him hard, finishing just 1 minute 40 seconds back in 1:20:23. Vishnu S and Keerthi Siddeshwar came through together, separated by 38 seconds in a tight battle for the podium.
| Position | Name | BIB | Net Time | Pace (min/km) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | Manoj RS | 25187 | 1:18:43 | 3:43 |
| 2nd | Sajith | 25186 | 1:20:23 | 3:48 |
| 3rd | Vishnu S | 25188 | 1:23:01 | 3:56 |
| 4th | Keerthi Siddeshwar | 27062 | 1:23:39 | 3:57 |

About the Spice Coast Marathon: Organised by the Soles of Cochin Running Club, this is a no-prize-money community event on an AIMS-certified flat course that takes in Marine Drive, the spice market and the heritage streets of Fort Kochi. The 3 AM start is intentional — it is the only way to give runners a window before Kochi’s October heat and humidity fully arrive.
The takeaway: Manoj RS’s 1:18:43 is the performance of the day. A 1,912-strong half marathon field at a community-run, no-prize event is also worth noting — Spice Coast continues to punch above its weight as one of South India’s most well-attended October races. In the full, the sub-3 target stays on the board for next year’s field to chase.
